DESIGN ENGINEER III

Description

Wallace Montgomery is seeking a Utilities Engineer, with at least 5 years of professional experience, to work in our Hunt Valley, MD office. This individual will be exposed to a variety of project types, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth. Typical projects include water/wastewater rehabilitation and/or replacement design. The Design Engineer III will work on complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Water/Wastewater Design
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
• Advanced MS Office Skills
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  
  

Desirable Skills And Qualifications

• Professional Engineering License in Maryland
• Experience working with public sector clients and/or local agencies
• Experience in hydraulic modeling, SCADA systems, or load flow analysis
• Experience in the development and preparation of documents for construction (drawings, specifications and estimates).
• Knowledge of utility design codes, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other engineering design software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
