POSITION: Lab Assistant (Advanced Automotive Technology)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred
· Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of these positions include the following:
- Facilitate student learning by utilizing a variety of learning options to meet individual student needs
- Provide for effective evaluation and assessment of the learning experience of each student
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills; both written and oral; and work ethic (i.e., preparation and punctuality)
- Monitor the progress of participants through lab sessions
- Regularly engage in professional learning activities and actively seek information about developing trends and ideas
- In order to perform these essential functions, the Lab Assistant must be present at work. Therefore, attendance is an essential function.
SALARY: ACCS Salary Schedule L, $21.00 per hour at 35 hours per week
