Job Summary
A classroom coordinator is responsible for direct supervision, coordination and support of classroom staff to further children’s development toward their school readiness goals.
Job descriptions
- Instructional coordinators or curriculum specialists who evaluate the effectiveness of curriculums and teaching techniques established by states regulations to staff.
- Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm
Responsibilities
- Ensure staff are implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students.
- Collaborate with educators to create effective curriculum that promotes childhood development.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive student interactions.
- Provide guidance and support to students with special educational needs.
- Facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student progress.
- Organize and participate in educational workshops and training sessions for staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments.
Experience
- Proven experience in childcare or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices and principles, and scales.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Experience working directly with students, particularly in managing classroom dynamics.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to enhance student learning experiences.
- Understanding of childhood development theories and practices.
- Report to admin daily with classroom reports
Requirements: **Applicants must have a QUALIFYING LETTER from the state of NC to work in a childcare facility. Compensation is based on years of experience and education.
*1. NC Early Childhood Associates Degree
*2. TB testing and physical before employment.(MUST HAVE)
*3. Current IT’S SIDs certification within 90 days
*4. CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
