Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure the safe operation of Wallenius Wilhelmsen facilities and equipment, while also promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and delivering training programs to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Managing and integrating plans for emergency situations, including coordination with relevant authorities.
- Developing and implementing safety, hygiene, and environmental policies.
- Verifying activities related to health and safety, safe working conditions, and environmental conditions and risk management.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Knowledge: Familiarity with office software (Excel, Word, PPT), OSHAS safety and management systems, ISO 14001:2015 environmental standard, national and international laws, and regulations related to industrial safety, environmental protection, and occupational health.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
Language: Basic English language skills are required.
Availability: Occasional local travel may be necessary.
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8 hours per day.
