Provide support to South Atlantic & Gulf Port and Cargo Operations teams, ensuring accurate and timely cargo updates for optimal customer satisfaction. Deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience that exceeds expectations, in line with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics' standards.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Daily validation and updating of ARC / Line receiving application, ensuring all cargo captured timely and accurately.
- Monitor EDI error file and reconcile errors not processing through to receiving.
- Capture and scan DR's daily to select customer.
- Update make and model of autos in systems for operational purposes.
- Provide cargo cut off directive to local terminal in accordance with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics cut off procedures in place.
- Provide select customers with receiving reports by vessel for documentation support
- Contact local surveyor providing cargo details and locations for cargo surveys as internally directed; sharing results with internal requester, customer care and documentation.
- Provide local agriculture personnel with bill of lading, VINs and locations for select customer; supporting timely release of import cargoes associated with RDD's
- Process local invoices
- Support the monitoring of internal door moves to ensure cargo received / delivered in accordance with vessel arrival and RDD's.
- Create import and export cargo resumes for submission to local port personnel
- Reconcile discharge and load list to support accuracy of Stevedore and Terminal billing
- Reconcile hard copy load list with systems ensuring all cargo loaded and updated upon vessel completion
- Timely creation and submission of system load list upon vessel departure to customer care and documentation
- Prepare monthly estimates
- Act in accordance with corporate policies, critical success factors and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics policies continually look for efficient and smarter ways of working
