Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide direction to those within the Survey department while conducting port operations or as deemed necessary.
- Survey new and return to port vehicles at VSA.
- Follow VSA’s policies and procedures for handling vehicles.
- Adhere to established quality, environmental and safety standards.
- Report any failure of a team member to comply with procedures, direction or safety guidelines will be reported to the Supervisor within hours. All deficiencies will be addressed with the Lead, Supervisor and involved team member within hours.
- Reporting any company policy violations immediately to the Supervisor, Manager or Human Resources.
- Responsible for conducting training with new team members per the SOP and coordinating with the Supervisor in the final sign off and validation of training.
- Support the continuous improvement process and sharing of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with your team.
- When short staffed or as needed, step in and complete responsibilities of the Vehicle Processor.
- Other duties as assigned, including cross-training and assisting in other positions within the job / pay grade.
