Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee a staff of 5 to 12 hourly and salary employees
- Performs critical, independent decision making that directly influences workflow and processes.
- Responsible for designing and implementing programs/processes to ensure all quality standards are met (internal, customer, ISO).
- Leading the CAPA process (RC/CA) and weekly CAP-DO meetings with Operations and/or Customer representatives.
- FMEA development as needed
- Creation of Standard Operating Procedures through collaboration with Operations.
- Periodic audits in accordance with quality program and customer requirements.
- Track and report quality metrics as determined by General Manager.
- Investigate, contain, analyze the root cause, and implement effective countermeasures
- Participate in and champion WalWil's Safety-First program.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- (5) years of experience in ISO, 8W, VM, 5s, LEAN, Continuous Improvement
- Minimum five (5) years practical experience as a Quality Manager or Supervisor with ISO compliance responsibility in an office environment supporting a fast-paced production facility.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, ISO auditing experience/courses
- Strong working knowledge and comfort with computers and technology. Especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet all performance expectations.
- Strong professional communication skills
- A sense of urgency and display flexibility to meet changing priorities and business needs.
