Job description:
If you are a proven CDL Driver Recruiter in the transportation industry, we want to talk to you! Your day-to-day responsibility will include recruiting, interviewing, and hiring truck drivers. This means lots of cold calling, phone time, computer time, and talking. We need someone who can run the phones and interact face-to-face with CDL drivers daily. We expect you to be self-motivated, self-directed, and organized.
Job duties include:
Providing potential drivers with information about our organization, hiring requirements and the type of work required to fulfill job duties.
Processing applications using an applicant tracking system.
Works closely with the Safety Department through the qualification and orientation processes
Consistently meets weekly hiring requirements and daily activity requirements.
Offers ideas for improving results for advertising strategies and ad campaigns.
Experience with Tenstreet or a similar applicant tracking system.
Ability to leverage digital office tools to accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently. (Teams, Social Media Sites, Outlook, VOIP Business Phone Systems, Excel)
Education, Skills, & Experience:
3 years of experience in high volume recruitment and staffing roles
Strong negotiation and interviewing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to demonstrate a proven history of success in the recruitment and staffing industry.
