IT Auditor - Cybersecurity SpecialistWe: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Auditor focusing on cybersecurity to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on global projects and contribute to the security of cutting-edge technology solutions in the energy industry. (Required 1. Degree in Computer Science (must have graduated between 2015 and 2019 with their first degree) 2. At least min of 3 years auditing Cyber Security 3. CISA certification)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct domestic and international IT audit engagements
- Identify risks and process deficiencies in IT solutions and processes
- Manage audit projects and staff auditors
- Stay current with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements
- Communicate with and educate process owners on control environments
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE 2-3 years working at an Energy Oil & Gas Company***
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (graduated between 2015-2019)
- Minimum 3 years of experience auditing cybersecurity
- CISA certification required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and openness to new ideas
- Broad knowledge of IT technologies (Cloud, Networks, Software Development, Databases)
- Experience with global frameworks such as NIST and COBIT
- Understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30% of time)
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Knowledge of oilfield terminology and business practices a plus
- Self-driven with a proactive approach and systems thinking mindset
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
