Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Subject Domain Expert specializing in Material Master for a 12-month contract position. The ideal candidate will act as the primary subject matter expert on Material Master in SAP S/4HANA, particularly for Fortune 500 clients in the Aerospace and Industrials sectors
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement Material Master data structures and processes for SAP S/4HANA implementations25.
- Lead client discussions on material data field usage, providing recommendations to address challenges while minimizing customizations15.
- Ensure data conformity and standardization principles are followed during Material Master discussions and design sessions5.
- Support discussions around mastering Material Master in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)5.
- Lead the creation of data definition templates for critical Material Master data elements15.
- Identify and document Material Master requirements and create user stories to guide implementation5.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert on Material Master in SAP S/4HANA, focusing on Fortune 500 clients14.
- Strong understanding of Aerospace and Industrial industry standards related to Material Master45.
- Proven ability to lead client discussions and provide practical recommendations15.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles and their application in SAP implementations5.
- Experience with SAP MDG and best practices for mastering Material Master data (preferred)5.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to various client locations
Skills and Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA certification or equivalent experience14.
- Expertise in Material Master data management, including creation, maintenance, and optimization12.
- Familiarity with SAP modules related to Material Master, such as MM, PP, and SD12.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients and team members14.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
