Job Description
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
- Contributing to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Shifts Available: Full Time, Part Time, and PRN, 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a. Every other weekend is required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
