Qualifications - Assistant Branch Manager
- Associate's Degree or higher
- At least 6 months to 1 year of related
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts and to apply math concepts
Responsibilities - Assistant Branch Manager
- Manages branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Contributes in personnel decisions as appropriate including hiring, scheduling, disciplinary actions, and evaluating performance.
- Ability to maintain composure and convey a positive attitude while interacting with customers and internal team members.
- Supervises day to day operational and compliance functions of the branch such as reconcilements, branch audits, reporting, controls, records management, approvals and branch opening/closing procedures.
- Motivates and encourages employees to meet or exceed monthly goals; markets bank products, services and ensures employees have appropriate knowledge levels of bank products.
- Distributes information on procedural and operational changes/updates to branch staff through weekly branch meetings in the absence of the branch manager.
- Provides assistance to Branch Manager to impact and enhance the positive image of bank in the community; conducts business development activities within the branch and surrounding community and participates in branch and community functions and activities to promote the bank's image and growth.
- Maintains through and current knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal policies and procedures and bank products and services; monitors adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures and ensures all employees understand and can communicate bank products and services effectively.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
