Qualifications - Help Desk Technician
- Bachelor's Degree (AA) or higher
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic computer administration skills required
- Basic networking knowledge
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Possess strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to proactively identify potential concerns and follow-up to resolve such issues.
- Ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities - Help Desk Technician
- Assists employees with installation, configuration and usability of computer systems.
- Responds to the needs and questions of employees; troubleshoots, diagnoses, and fixes hardware and/or software problems.
- Performs basic maintenance on systems and hardware, including installing updates, rebuilding systems, adding/removing software, etc.
- Performs basic network troubleshooting to resolve user-reported issues
- Follows change management procedures when making changes to user entitlements
- Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
