Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in coding and billing processes to ensure accurate insurance claims.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with geriatrics and outpatient care is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
