Fixed Operations Director – Service & Parts

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for an experienced Fixed Operations Director who is ready to call this place home and take our service and parts departments to the next level. The right candidate will be a strong leader with a track record of increasing service volume, profitability, and CSI scores while ensuring operational efficiency and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increase service and parts volume & profitability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations of the service, parts, and warranty departments to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive customer retention, technician productivity, and revenue growth.
- Implement process improvements and training programs to maximize performance.
- Maintain and improve CSI and customer retention metrics through superior service experiences.
- Ensure fixed ops profitability by managing expenses, labor costs, and inventory control.
- Foster a positive team culture, coaching and mentoring service advisors, technicians, and parts staff.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, warranty procedures, and dealership best practices.
- Analyze financial statements, KPI reports, and operational data to develop strategic action plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fixed Operations Director, Service & Parts Director, or similar role in an automotive dealership.
- Strong track record of increasing service & parts revenue and profit margins.
- Expertise in Nissan or import brands is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Deep understanding of service lane operations, shop productivity, warranty processes, and parts inventory management.
- Ability to create and execute growth strategies while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
- Experience with DMS & CRM software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, XTime, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding dealership goals.
