Senior Manager, Marketing Planning And Strategy - Walmart Connect

Walmart Connect is seeking a B2B media ad sales marketer with experience in connected TV (CTV), programmatic, streaming, social, and emerging platforms to join the Partner Marketing team. The role involves using strategic intelligence, digital media knowledge, and creativity to develop and implement media partner marketing strategies. Duties include creating compelling content, developing sales tools, writing scripts for speaking engagements, and managing media partner marketing projects. You will have over 7 years of experience in B2B marketing, media ad sales marketing, or related fields, and proven skills in creating persuasive narratives, strategic thinking, and managing multiple projects. Experience in content marketing for media partners such as CTV and / or streaming platforms is preferred.

You'll harness your strategic intelligence, digital media acumen, media landscape knowledge, and creativity in lockstep with Partner Marketing leadership to develop and execute media partner marketing strategies by writing compelling content, developing sales enablement and L&D materials, and creating project plans, goals, KPIs, and success metrics for marketing initiatives.

What you'll do...

  • Work with Media Partnerships and cross-functional teams, such as Product Marketing, Agency Partnerships, Brand Marketing, and Research & Analytics to increase adoption among agencies and advertisers for our :
  • Media partners : Walmart DSP, CTV, social, streaming, emerging, measurement
  • Tactical elements may include, but are not limited to, creating media partner narratives using PowerPoint and collateral, scripting media partners’ event and webinar materials, developing case studies and newsletter content, identifying distribution channels to amplify awareness for media partners, and operationalizing marketing plans.
  • Demonstrate your marketing savvy and autonomy by owning media partner marketing projects end-to-end (strategy, project timelines, execution, measurement, optimization) with Partner Marketing leadership’s support and cross-functional inputs.
  • Develop media partner marketing strategies and scripts for advertiser- and agency-driven speaking engagements and industry event panels, prep Walmart Connect speakers for said event engagements, support event activations, and measure success.
  • Contribute to the success of Partner Marketing by helping the team achieve OKRs within budgetary and timeline scope while ensuring projects support the broader business objectives of the Partner Marketing team and Walmart Connect.
  • Work with Partner Marketing and Media Partnerships leadership to develop strategic marketing plans supporting AOP goals for Walmart Connect.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build a strong operational foundation that supports future scale.

What you'll bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 3 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years of relevant professional experience in B2B marketing, media ad sales marketing, CTV, programmatic, streaming, social, retail media, or emerging platforms.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills that encourage cross-functional teamwork and strategic thinking.
  • A proven track record and passion for :
  • Creating persuasive narratives utilizing PowerPoint.
  • B2B marketing strategies.
  • Narrative development for media partners.
  • Sales enablement plans.
  • Speech writing and speaker preparations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced matrixed environment with effective time management skills.
  • Ability to use research and insights to craft compelling media partner narratives.
  • Proactive, flexible, and willingness to pitch in as Walmart Connect continues to rapidly scale and evolve.
  • Ability to understand complex business operations and drive efficiencies through process improvements.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with an appreciation for trackers and process documents.
  • Ability to communicate and operationalize strategy.
  • Media partner content marketing experience, such as CTV and / or streaming platforms preferred.

    The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00 in Hoboken, New Jersey, and $117,000.00-$234,000.00 in San Bruno, California. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
