The Staff Data Architect will guide the architecture, design, and implementation of ADE's data strategy. You will work closely with product teams, data scientists, and data engineers to build out our innovative Data Lake.
About Team: Associate Digital Experience (ADE) - Engineering Excellence
The Associate Digital Experience (ADE) organization builds and supports associate facing applications and experiences. We seek to remove friction points from an associate's work day and build consumer grade experiences. As a member of the Engineering Excellence team, you will guide and support our innovative product teams.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design of our integrated data model, which simplifies how users interact with the Data Lake.
- Work closely with product teams to determine what data assets should be brought into the Data Lake.
- Lead the Data Architecture Review process to improve the quality and competency of data design across ADE.
- Participate in research to create innovative solutions aimed at simplifying how users interact with the Data Lake.
- Consult with product teams on ways to leverage the assets within the Data Lake.
What you'll bring:
- Experience designing complex cross-domain data models.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP), especially Airflow, Data Proc, GCP buckets, and Big Query.
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels, from new hires to executives.

Salary : $110,000 - $220,000
