We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator and Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machinery and forklifts while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency. 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift available!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate operation.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and equipment within the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and production lines using forklifts.
- Inspect products for quality assurance and report any defects or issues.
- Follow production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Maintain detailed records of production data, including material usage and downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for machine operation and forklift use.
- Perform regular inventory checks and ensure materials are stored in designated areas.
- Support team members by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S principles.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator and Forklift Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus (certification can be provided upon hire).
- Strong understanding of machinery operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to machine operation and forklift use.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production schedules.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
