We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential support to physicians and medical staff by performing both administrative and clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for each patient.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns.
- Administer injections, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests as directed.
- Perform phlebotomy and process laboratory specimens as needed.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up on referrals.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and health management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in medical assisting preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
