Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct inspections on medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for accurate measurements.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to detect defects or inconsistencies.
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that all products meet established specifications and customer requirements.
- Support validation and verification processes for new and existing products.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to ISO and FDA standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician in the medical device industry is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, and gauges).
- Familiarity with ISO standards and FDA regulations related to medical devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
