Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Summer College Baseball Statistician Intern located in Alamo, CA. The intern will be responsible for collecting and analyzing baseball game data, creating and updating statistical models, and assisting in the preparation of analytical reports. Additionally, the intern will input data accurately into statistical software, collaborate with the coaching staff, and attend home and away games as required.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Statistics, Mathematics, and Analytical Skills
- Experience with Statistical Programming and Statistical Modeling
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to attend both home and away games to support the Crawdad's schedule
- Knowledge of baseball and its statistical measures is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
