If you join our team as the Assistant Director, you will:
- Project an inspiring, positive, and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for the programmatic functions associated with the preschool's operation (attendance lists, registration, etc. ).
- Manage the budget and use ProCare (the preschool accounting program) to process all family payments.
- Process vendor payments for the church office and track annual budget expenses.
- Have excellent communication and relationship skills required to communicate effectively with the director, teachers, preschool staff, parents, and church staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of school records and administrative information.
- Effectively manage the administrative and clerical functions associated with the preschool operation (answering the phone and email correspondence, maintaining files for children and staff, ordering classroom supplies and snack supplies, and assisting the director and preschool staff with all state and local government licensing standards.
- Serves as Acting Director when the Director is off-site.
- Occasionally will spend 4 hours in the classroom covering teachers during breaks or absences when substitutes are unavailable. Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a relate
Required Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education Units, Additional Units Admin Preferred Willing to complete in a timely manner, if not finished
- 2 years experience working in the administration of a school with a preference for experience working as a Preschool Director, Interim Director, or Assistant Director.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

- Ability to communicate effectively with everyone associated with the preschool.
- Has the ability to plan and host different community events.
- Website management and marketing experience.
