Walnut Street Center is looking for an Assistant Program Manager (Residential Services) to support the supervision of a home supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities . We offer competitive pay & excellent benefits in a rewarding and supportive environment.
Walnut Street Center is hiring a full time Assistant Program Manager to work with Individuals with ID/DD in one of our Residential Programs. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives. *Candidates must have comparable managerial experience and experience working with this population.
Essential Duties:
- Supports Residential Program Manager with staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management.
- Supports Residential Program Manager with Case Management; develops and implements all aspects of ISPs, schedules and attends medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.
- Completes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: updating of manuals and approval/ reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts and representative payee accounts.
- Conducts activities of daily living, including but not limited to: social skills, personal routines, financial management, personal hygiene/care of residents.
- Serves as a liaison between Agency and the individuals’ family, friends and guardians.
- Supports Residential Program Manager with implementation of behavioral interventions.
- Supports Residential Program Manager with implementation of emergency procedures that ensure the safety of the individuals, both in the home and within the community.
- Administers and oversees the timely and accurate administration and documentation of administration of medication(s). Acts as residence's Medication Officer.
- Maintains a physically safe work environment and reports work related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Experience managing a group home
- Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass OIG, CORI, SORI, DPPC, and Driving background checks.
- Holds Medication Administration (MAP), First Aid/CPR, and Safety
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Covid-19 Vaccination Card
- Ability to work Sunday through Thursday 11:00am-7:00pm schedule
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
