Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator
Walor North America is looking for an EHS Coordinator to join its Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and policies. This includes developing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and providing training to employees. The coordinator will also be responsible for investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
What you will do
Walor North America is looking for an EHS Coordinator to join its Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and policies. This includes developing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and providing training to employees. The coordinator will also be responsible for investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
What you will do
- Creating and enforcing safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
- Conducting training sessions with employees
- Regular inspections of the facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct investigations and generate reports on the accidents, incidents and near-misses and recommend corrective action
- Ensure WNA complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, such as OSHA standards
- Evaluate work environment processes and activities to identify potential health and safety risks and implement mitigation strategies Prepare and submit necessary compliance documents to regulatory agencies Other duties as assigned
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in EHS
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certifications preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems experience a plus

Work Environment
- Location-The EHS Coordinator role is based on site at our Columbus facility
- Physical Demand-May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
- Schedule-Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some overtime or weekends may be necessary
