What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator 12-Hour position at Walor North America?
Operator PC1 (12-Hour Shift)
Essential Functions:
- Operation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually
- Material handling with a forklift
- Support department personnel and tasks
- Measuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standards
- Performing required operator level maintenance tasks
- Assisting maintenance during major breakdowns
- Sorting non-conforming product (as required)
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding areas
- Special projects as determined by area manager/supervisor/team lead
- Adherence to 5S principles
- Reporting/Documenting equipment related maintenance issues to supervisor/maintenance department
- Supply maintenance request documentation for breakdowns
- Completing required department documentation
- Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
- Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- Adherence to all written and verbal directives of the manager/supervisor/team lead
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Print reading
- Basic Math Skills
Miscellaneous:
- Monday-Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Onsite-Columbus, Ohio
- Permanent/Full Time
- Overtime, Alternate Shifts and Weekends may be necessary
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position works within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
