Quality Systems Coordinator
The Quality Systems Coordinator will be responsible for the development, application, and maintenance of the quality control systems and ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies. This includes ensuring quality systems meet requirements, lead and direct internal and external auditing, providing training to employees and supporting the QM Manager. The coordinator will also be responsible for identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, the coordinator will work closely with management to develop and implement sustainability initiatives and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
The Quality Systems Coordinator will be responsible for the development, application, and maintenance of the quality control systems and ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies. This includes ensuring quality systems meet requirements, lead and direct internal and external auditing, providing training to employees and supporting the QM Manager. The coordinator will also be responsible for identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, the coordinator will work closely with management to develop and implement sustainability initiatives and other tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation/Maintenance of current Quality Maintenance System
- Coordinate/lead projects for QMS development
- Internal auditing (Safety, LPA, QMS, CAR related audits)
- Organization and controlling of IATF/TUV audit process
- Define and implement reporting systems to relay information on audit results, any gap to system requirements and drive necessary actions
- Coordination with corporate QMS function to review for applicability and implement new or modified procedures, standards, and instructions
- Training of staff in quality and/or safety principles and procedures
- Maintain LPA audit system including scheduling, forms, AMP lists and posting boards
- Schedule and drive meetings to address system corrections
- Preparing documents, standard operating procedures and update process landscape accordingly
- Responsible in additional role as standard agent for all document controls, norms, etc., in cooperation with Walor North America corporate Quality processes
- Participate in management revisions and provide data as needed by the process
Requirements
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Experience developing and implementing safety programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality field
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems and IATF 16949
