Our Crew Leaders are responsible for providing Walpole Outdoors’ clients with quality installation and excellent customer experience. They are to be professional, good communicators, and work with a sense of urgency.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Communicate project details and installation process to customers
- These details include daily start and end times, estimated completion date, payment terms, etc.
- Provide quality installation and service of Walpole products
- Manage the installation crew with a positive attitude and clear directions
- Problem solve and carry out solutions to issues that are equitable to the customer and Walpole Outdoors
- Maintain vehicles and equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Safety Compliance
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials
Requirements
Required Skills / Abilities
- Installation and construction capabilities
- Excellent Communication Skills with a customer focus
- Reliable/Can-do attitude and positive outlook
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings
- Proficiency in the use of light construction equipment and hand tools as well as the ability to navigate a tablet device
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred
- Previous related experience preferred
- Managing / supervising crews
- Reliable transportation
- Report to work on time
- Willingness to undertake training if necessary
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
