Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team is a full-time, permanent position with incredible benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop electrical schematics, interconnect diagrams, and panel layouts, including SCR control panels and PLC systems.
- Work closely with engineers, customers, and management to discuss and execute engineering projects.
- Perform detailed calculations, ensure compliance with codes/standards, and develop Factory Acceptance Test requirements.
- Prepare specifications for materials/equipment and maintain technical documentation (wiring diagrams, operating procedures).
- Identify and resolve issues in control systems, providing production and commissioning support.
- Stay updated on electrical engineering trends, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
- Ability to travel 20% to support product installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering; PE License or Master’s is a plus.
- 5-10 years in instrumentation, controls, and low-medium voltage power systems.
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (3D preferred), PLC programming, and electrical power calculations.
- Familiarity with NEC, ASME codes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and resolve critical issues.
- Ability to work in an industrial setting, lift to 25 lbs., and comply with PPE and safety regulations.
