Job Description
Seasonal Opening – March till September
Looking for a willing and engaged individual. This person will be part of a hardworking team that supports the Walrath Landscape Supply division with phone calls and delivery scheduling. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as part of a team that spans our 4 different locations.
Landscape materials; plants, soil knowledge, excellent communication and customer service skills required. Competitive wages based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Customer service. Be the voice of our company as you take phone calls from our Landscape Supply customers.
Take calls and schedule material deliveries while answering questions regarding our products and services.
Coordinate deliveries with dispatch to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
Operate a computer and software to complete phone order sales.
Collaborate readily with co-workers and management to achieve responsibilities.
Skills/Knowledge:
Plant, soil, and nursery experience helpful.
Computer skills required. Experience in Windows 10 and the Microsoft Office Suite needed.
Clear, direct, and thoughtful communication with customers, peers, and management.
Addressing customers’ questions, complaints and concerns with confidence and patience.
Work Full Time with a willingness for overtime and Saturday’s.
