Position Summary

As an Adjunct Faculty member in the decision science department, you will be responsible for providing college graduate level instruction in your area of expertise. You will assist in ensuring that course materials have a high level of quality, rigor, and academic standards are met. You will have a passion for serving the next generation of business and technology leaders.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach quantitative methods, data analytics, and/or technology related courses via Zoom and in the classroom, and online.
  • Develop new courses.
  • Assist in updating curricula to meet the needs of students and employers.
  • Provide student learning outcomes data as it relates to the courses taught and academic program(s).
  • Follow guidelines outlined by the dean of academics and the department chair to meet KPI metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Completion of a minimum of eighteen graduate credits in quantitative methods, data science, or data analytics required.
  • A minimum of two years related professional work experience is required.
  • College level teaching experience preferred.
  • Doctorate degree is required in quantitative methods, data science, data analytics, or related field.
  • Related professional certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to teach and engage adult learners who possess professional experience.
  • Knowledge of current technology used in management-related professions required.
  • Superior written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Willingness and capability to teach via Zoom and in the classroom and online.
