As a Peer-to-Peer Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic assistance and support to your fellow students. You will have a strong desire to help people succeed and a passion for serving the next generation of business and technology leaders.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assist students in understanding course material, completing assignments, and preparing for exams in subject matter discipline.
- Create and maintain a tutoring schedule convenient to both tutor and tutee using Salesforce as scheduling system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each tutoring session using the Student Success Hub.
- Work within the institution’s parameters outlined by the academic event and student life coordinator during onboarding and training.
- Develop a good understanding and knowledge of college services, supports, and resources.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information, material, and discussions shared in the tutoring relationship.
Your Qualifications Include:
- Current student in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of [required GPA, e.g., 3.0].
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject(s) you wish to tutor.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and varying academic abilities.
- Stable Internet access for remote work.
- Must be able to travel to on campus locations to complete in-person sessions as needed.
