Position Overview:
Walsh Dental Group is seeking a dental assistant to work chairside with our doctors. The candidate must have basic knowledge of dental procedures including resin and amalgam fillings, crown preparations, extractions (simple and surgical) and be proficient with 4-handed dentistry. CEREC knowledge/familiarity preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
· Patient management including, but not limited to, blood pressure, medical history updates, and obtaining consent for treatment
· 4-handed chairside general dentistry (suctioning, passing instruments, retraction, etc.)
· Radiograph exposure (PAs, BWXs, Pan, CBCT)
· IOC and EOC photos
· Digital scanning
· Analog impressions (alginate)
· Pouring and trimming models
· CEREC crown processing
· Processing instruments through sterilization
· Set-up and breakdown of treatment rooms
· Stocking rooms
· Assisting hygiene as needed (perio charting, placing sealants, etc.)
· Helping in the business office as needed
· Effective and efficient communication with the business team regarding treatment changes
· Accurate charting and clinical documentation
· Following all OSHA and HIPAA standards
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift, Monday through Thursday
- 7 AM – 5PM
Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
