JOB OPENING – Construction Estimator (Entry Level) – Iowa City
Walsh Door & Security is seeking an Entry-Level Estimator to be a part of the team at our Iowa City location. We are the one

Job Description:
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements to prepare accurate estimates for commercial doors,
frames, and hardware.
- Use estimating software to price material and labor for projects based on blueprints and specifications.
- Participate in pre-bid reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- AutoCAD or Revit software experience is helpful, but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Detail oriented. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects under a deadline.
- Must have ability to handle large workload, multitask, and maintain a positive attitude.
- “Will do”, trainable, team player type attitude.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and security background check.
