Walsh's Ace Hardware/Ace of Lacrosse is a family owned business dedicated to being a valuable member of the communities we serve. Our goal is to AMAZE every customer, every time with our service, selection, convenience and quality.
We are looking for energetic and helpful folks to allow us to continue toward our goal. As our Business to Business (B2B) sales associate you will be responsible for taking care of our existing accounts while developing new accounts to grow our overall B2B business. The B2B staff maintains outstanding customer relations while growing our base. Duties include tracking B2B purchases to identify trends and proactively anticipate trends. Create and maintain sales lead files, research quotes, bids and orders as well as process them. The B2B staff is the outside representation to our customers.
We have been operating for over 100 years, since 1913 and intend on continuing to remember what got us here and continue to serve our communities as we have to date.
* Education and Training: High School degree or G.E.D equivalent, some college preferred. Product knowledge and a willingness to learn is a plus.
* Experience: Outside Sales and Marketing experience a plus. Experience in a Retail setting is beneficial.
* Skills/Knowledge: Excellent organizational ability as well as knowledge of retail computer systems a plus. MS Word, Excel etc.
* High degree of effective communication skills a necessity. The ability to multi-task, high attention to detail and the ability to listen are imperative.
* Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass the MVR to drive our vehicles (clean driving record).
* Demonstrated ability to keep an upbeat attitude.
* Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds, climb ladders as well as kneel, stoop, bend, reach, walk, pull, lift and carry.
