Position Summary
Walsh University is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join the successful and highly respected Byers School of Nursing as a Clinical Site Coordinator for Graduate Programs. The candidate will work closely with faculty to oversee the coordination of clinical placement for all graduate nursing students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to verification of clinical sites and preceptors, obtaining affiliation and preceptor agreements, ensuring student compliance with all health data, and completing onboarding for students with individual sites. The Clinical Site Coordinator will also work with the Chair of Graduate Programs to facilitate the admission application process. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and technical skills including data entry and competence with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Works in conjunction with students, faculty, and clinical partners to secure placement for graduate students
- Collects affiliation and preceptor agreements
- Assists faculty in ensuring the appropriateness of clinical sites for placement
- Compiles admission application materials for review by faculty
- Liaison between students and clinical sites
- Maintains records for clinical placement

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Must understand and support the Mission, Vision and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University, as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae.
Education: Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field.
Work Experience: Previous experience with clinical placement preferred.
