What are the responsibilities and job description for the Girls Volleyball Coach position at Walsingham Academy?
Walsingham Academy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of head volleyball coach. This position reports to the Athletic Director and is responsible have overseeing all aspects of the volleyball program.
This position’s primary responsibilities include managing the girls’ volleyball team, instructing athletes in fundamentals skills, strategies, and physical training necessary to realize individual and team success. In addition, the head coach must
· Assume full responsibility for the overall supervision of the assigned program.
· Helping to organize and support JJV volleyball program.
· Know, understand and implement rules imposed by the school.
· Supervise and conduct practices and contests in a safe manner.
· Supervise all athletes after practices and games until they leave school grounds.
· Manage and maintain uniforms, equipment, and facilities in a responsible manner.
· Develop good public relations with the parents, school and community.
· Communicate effectively with the Athletic Director, administrators, players and parents as well as local clubs.
