What We’re Looking For: Walstrom Marine is seeking a Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department in Harbor Springs! This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional with experience in inventory management, vendor relations, and customer service. The Parts Manager will oversee department operations, optimize inventory, and ensure seamless coordination with technicians and vendors. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor the Parts Coordinator to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee inventory management, including year-end counts, cycle counts, and tracking of parts orders.
- Manage vendor relationships to secure optimal pricing and availability of parts.
- Review work orders and place accurate, timely orders to support service needs.
- Ensure all received parts are properly logged, stored, and distributed.
- Provide customers and technicians with accurate estimates and availability updates.
- Conduct weekly audits of work orders and inventory to verify accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department.
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow and inventory control.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts management, inventory control, or a related field (marine, automotive, or powersports industry preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, technicians, and customers.
- Proficiency with inventory management software is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months
- This is an in-person, on site position based out of our Harbor Springs location
