What We’re Looking For:
Walstrom Marine is seeking a Seasonal Boat Delivery Captain to join our Cheboygan team! This role is perfect for a skilled and customer-focused captain who enjoys working on the water and ensuring a seamless boat delivery experience.
As a Boat Delivery Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of vessels to and from customer locations, conducting vessel orientations, and ensuring boats are delivered in pristine condition. This position requires a strong knowledge of boat handling, navigation, and customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and transport vessels of various sizes to customer destinations across the Great Lakes region
- Work closely with the Service and Sales teams to coordinate delivery schedules and vessel preparation
- Assist in the Yard as needed
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License required
- Previous experience operating and navigating powerboats and yachts, must be able to comfortably and confidently operate a boat up to 70'
- Strong understanding of marine safety regulations, navigation, and docking procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable with basic vessel maintenance and troubleshooting
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months
- This is an in-person, on site position based out of our Harbor Springs location
