What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at Walsworth LLP?
Walsworth is a 120 member law firm with offices in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. We handle and litigate large scale, complex matters in several states and internationally, including serving as national trial counsel.
We are currently in search of an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our CFO/COO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years assisting managing partners or executives in a professional services firm. This position has the opportunity to be 100% remote for the candidate with strong organization and efficiency skills. Qualified applicants must reside in California, Tennessee, or South Carolina. Daily video and phone calls will be necessary.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, reports, meeting and presentation material, and other documents for senior staff.
- Collect and maintain financial data via charts and spreadsheets for presentations and communications.
- Coordinate management meetings, ensuring for all necessary resources. Assist with internal and external event coordination.
- Coordinate candidate interviews, new hire onboarding activities, and staff year-end performance evaluation meetings.
- Assists CFO/COO with projects related to management of Walsworth, as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- BA/BS Degree.
- Minimum two years of professional services experience supporting executive level managers.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in other MS Office Suite applications.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with financial and human resources data.
- Ability to work efficiently from a remote location.
- Adaptability to the demands of rush projects and critical deadlines, while maintaining appropriate decorum.
- Extreme organization and multi-tasking absolutely required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, cordial, and productive working relationships with teammates and other firm members.
- Proactively analyze and solve problems.
- Prioritize workload and manage time accordingly; seek assistance when necessary.
Compensation
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a pay range of $70,000 - $80,000 a year and represents Walsworth’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant experience, and qualifications.
