Description
Job Summary:
As an Accounting Staff II, you are responsible for managing the corporate shopfloor data validation process to ensure the integrity of Walsworth's Cost Accounting systems.
Essential Functions:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITES
- Edit and correct shopfloor labor records to ensure accuracy of the data.
- Manage production data integrity through maintenance of ShopFloor Data Collection system information, using various system tools to identify errors and make corrections.
- Assist in implementation, development, training, and support of all functions of ShopFloor Data Collection systems.
- Act as lead trainer for all areas of ShopFloor Data Collection in all company systems, to production employees as well as data validators.
- Develop programs to reduce work time and improve efficiencies for end users.
- Manage and troubleshoot AS400 and Monarch production system databases in the areas of ShopFloor and Job Costing data.
- Provide assistance to maintain Job Costing data integrity, ensuring accuracy of all labor and material costs.
- Provide guidance and support for manufacturing supervisors in problem solving.
- Complete special projects as requested.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
- Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based databases.
- Experience with Cost Accounting concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
