JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Supervisor, the Computer Support Specialist provides technical assistance to customers via telephone calls, emails, over the internet, as well as hands on training for customers, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Learn and stay current on all supported Adobe software
Learn and stay current on all Walsworth Publishing Company's created plug-ins for supported Adobe applications
Learn and stay current on all Walsworth Publishing Company's created stand-alone software
Support the customers via telephone, email, Chats. and on-site training , always staying polite, professional and positive representative of Walsworth Publishing Company
Test developing Enhancements and stand-alone software
Research problems for customers regarding corrupt, un-workable or problematic pages
Assist in researching of problems or conflicts with current and developing products
Train customers in a one on one and group setting on all software and Enhancements provided by Walsworth Publishing Company
Complete other duties as assigned.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Answer internal email
Provide additional support for colleagues
Provide support for internal personnel
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop is a plus. Previous Customer Service experience is needed.
