Maintenance Electrician
Walsworth is hiring a Maintenance Electrician at our facility in Ripon, Wisconsin. This position's responsibilities include working on equipment from large to small in our 250,000 square foot building. This full-time, hourly, overtime pay and benefits eligible role is part of a team of Maintenance Electricians and Technicians. The work schedule is 7 AM to 3 PM with possible overtime and may include being on a call schedule.

What you will learn how to do:
- Work safely and maintain a safe work environment, follow all plant and department specific safety rules, procedures and policies.
- Problem solve equipment breakdowns and performs necessary repairs to maintain quality and productivity.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment.
- Work with outside contractors to install or modify equipment.
- Do assigned machine preventative maintenance.
- Properly enter information into computerized Maintenance Request Program.
- Report machine parts and items needed by other departments to maintenance leadership.
- Maintain building and grounds and all building systems as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understand DC and AC principles and components including motors, controllers and PLCs.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Full understanding of mechanical maintenance skills.
- Gain hands on experience with lathes, milling, presses, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics.
