Walt Churchill’s Market is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician at our Perrysburg, OH location.

Responsibilities:
- Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy
- Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information
- Verifying the accuracy of patient information
- Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels
- Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication
- Processing patient insurance
- Must be trained to immunize
Pharmacy hours are:
Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm
Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sunday: Closed
Schedule:
This position will require a varied schedule of 5 shifts per week, including rotating Saturdays, totaling 40 hours per week. No Sundays or major holidays.

Requirements:- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in a pharmacy
- Must be trained to immunize
- High school degree or GED required
- The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks
- Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
- Must be able to pass a background check
