As a Sr. Audio Systems Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, you'll be part of a collaborative team that brings magical worlds to life through technical expertise, performance excellence, and incomparable ingenuity. We're looking for a seasoned audio professional who can help us create immersive experiences that transport guests to new realms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in creative development and production phases, including blue-sky brainstorming and feasibility assessments
- Provide oversight and input during Creative Reviews and Design Reviews
- Develop and/or execute Audio Designs for live shows and facility infrastructure
- Be an engaged leader of Audio R&D efforts, participating in interface with other Company technology divisions
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in theatrical design, show development, and operation of live shows
- Superior understanding of current technology and industry standards for audio systems design
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Demonstrated expertise in audio design theory and practice, with ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems
