We're seeking a highly experienced Audio Systems Designer to join our team at Walt Disney Imagineering. As a Sr. Audio Systems Designer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the sonic identity of our live shows and attractions, ensuring every detail is carefully considered to create an unforgettable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all audio systems design, helping to prioritize, organize, and problem-solve during the entire course of a project
- Participate in a Project's creative development and production phases, including blue-sky brainstorming, project kick-off, scope definition, feasibility, and budgetary ROMs
- Provide oversight and input during Creative Reviews, Design Reviews, and at other major milestone checkpoints
- Develop and/or execute Audio Designs for live shows and facility infrastructure, when required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in theatrical design, show development, and operation of live shows
- Superior understanding of current technology and industry standards for audio systems design
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Demonstrated expertise in audio design theory and practice, with ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems
