Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative force that imagines, designs and brings to life all Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions and cruise ships worldwide. The approximate date of this internship is May/June 2025 to January 2026 and will be located in Orlando, FL.
What You Will Do:
As a Creative Producer Intern, you will be responsible for coordinating the quality, schedule and scope of Company projects by ensuring streamlined communication, product movement and process flow from concept design through implementation and closeout! The intern must consistently maintain a bottom-up, broad perspective across all departments in order to ensure that all aspects of the work are covered and no efforts are duplicated. As an intern will work closely with the team responsible for developing and communicating creative concepts and content. The team provides concept direction for designing experiences and venues through storyboarding, 3D modeling and/or sketching, by developing the idea beyond concept by using digital or traditional tools to articulate buildable designs, and by guiding the creative vision through design reviews and construction. Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university, earning a degree in
BA or BFA in Architecture, Interior Design, Theater, Project Management or related design field.

- Collaborate with the creative team on the day to day needs of experience design projects
- Lead a definable scope of work with the mentorship of senior team leaders
- Develop and/or maintain scope lists and deliverable matrixes.
- Capture design input and distribute community.
- Monitor meetings and other communications as well as provide updates as needed in order to ensure property integration and to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Partner with various teams to create physical and digital presentations throughout a projects life cycle
- Communicate with more senior level producers, project managers, creative directors and team leads relative to status updates of schedule progress, design inputs required, and completion of design breakthroughs.
- Work in collaboration with other team members in developing ideas, by participating in brainstorming sessions.
- Engage with multiple design teams and integrate work flow with Disney Signature Experiences partners.
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to edit video clips within a presentation as needed
- Understanding of creative development process and work flow for unique projects
- Appreciate for a coordinated design and production experience with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to integrate collaboration within the project team
- Superior organization and communication skills while being able to coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Knowledge and proficiency in multiple subjects, styles and artistic media.
- Excellent creative problem-solving skills and visual storytelling skills
- Experience communicating and curating complex ideas via mood boards, Keynotes, or Powerpoint
- Superior design and concept visualization skills; 3D modeling
- Provide concept design support for facilities, area development, and scenic elements through the use of various mediums including illustration, architecture, drawings, sketches, storyboards, 2D and 3D digital design, graphics and multimedia.

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- A cover letter indicating your interest in the WDI Creative Producer Internship is required.
- Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
- Fully available from Monday through Friday, EST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando area
