**Job Title:** Horticulture Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Horticulture Specialist to join our team at Walt Disney World Resort. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience within horticulture or agriculture subject areas and be able to meet requirements for climbing aerial rescue guidelines.
**About the Role:** Our horticulture team provides essential support for the Global team, ensuring that our landscaping looks great for our guests. This role involves providing horticulture support, tree care, pruning, and moving trees. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide expert horticulture advice and support to the Global team* Ensure horticulture standards are met in all areas of the resort* Work with teams to maintain high-quality landscaping and gardens* Maintain knowledge of southern tree species and industry safety standards (ANSI Z133) and procedures (ANSI 300)
**Requirements:*** Minimum of 3 years experience within horticulture or agriculture subject areas* Able to meet requirements for climbing aerial rescue guidelines* Familiar with industry safety standards (ANSI Z133) and procedures (ANSI 300)* Knowledge of southern tree species* Able to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs* Valid CDL Class "A" with air brakes endorsement* Speak and read English to communicate with guests* Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule
