The Houseperson focuses on creating magic for our Guests during their Walt Disney World® Resort stay by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness & Guest Service. The Houseperson provides support to Housekeepers, assists with custodial cleaning of buildings, maintains cleanliness of storage rooms, and ensures linens and supplies are stocked. The Houseperson is also responsible for transporting linen between various locations within the resort, using a SmartPhone device to respond to Guest requests, and conducting visual inspections of Guest rooms.
Houseperson Cast Members receive a starting rate of $15.75/hour.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

Houseperson Cast Members receive a starting rate of $15.75/hour.
Responsibilities :
- Provide support to the Housekeepers at the resort by removing dirty linens, trash and recycling
- Ensure the storage rooms are stocked with cleaning supplies, linens and amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas and Guest corridors
- Respond to Guest requests, such as delivering supplies, roll away beds, cribs and other amenities
- Operate a SmartPhone device to access assignments and submit work orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
- Conduct visual inspection of Guest rooms
Basic Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
- Good communication skills
- Full-Time roles require FULL AVAILABILITY for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
- Cast Members will be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred
- Six (6) months of previous Housekeeping, Houseperson or Housekeeping Support experience
- Previous housekeeping responsibilities for up to 14 rooms a day
