Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Food Handler Cast Member to join our team at Walt Disney World. As a Food Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food products are received and stored for our guests.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for Food and Beverage, and experience working in a Food & Beverage role within the last 2 years. You will be responsible for inspecting and receiving deliveries from vendors and warehouses, as well as supporting operations in our Back-of-house (BOH) kitchens and back dock areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and receive deliveries from vendors and warehouses
- SUPPORT OPERATIONS IN BOH KITCHENS AND BACK DOCK AREAS
- Assist with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License: Required to safely operate a van or box truck for transporting goods, as well as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift products over 60 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and work in varying hot and cold environments both indoors and outdoors.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with the team.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work well in a team and assist with various tasks as needed.
- Food & Beverage Experience: Has worked in a Food & Beverage role within the last 2 years and is familiar with food safety practices and identifying various food products.
- Availability: Part-time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of (3) THREE days per week, including nights and holiday

Compensation and Benefits
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $18.00 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
