Are you ready to join this team and make an impact?"As a Senior Safety Professional, you will be an important resource. You will drive the identification, assessment, analysis, and solving of a broad spectrum of safety and ergonomic issues across a diverse group of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts businesses.The Senior Safety Professional will report to a Manager of SafetyWhat You Will DoOn any given day, as a Senior Safety Professional, you might : You will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneouslyDrive the implementation of safety and ergonomic programs, performing job task analysis, facility, and design / modifications, analyzing injury and illness trend data, evaluating safety performance, and finding opportunities to improve safety and ergonomics performance.Lead the development and implementation of ergonomic strategies and tacticsParticipate in ergonomic-related incident investigations and follow-upsImprove performance, review source material (rules, codes, laws, and standards) identify and share industry practicesEnsure implementation of applicable safety standards and established regulationsManage relationships and work as part of a team within a matrix environment with all levels of leadership and employeesAnalyze ergonomic injury and illness data, prepare presentations on trends and mitigation plans, and then share them with your peers / leadersServe as the Safety & Health Duty Manager on a rotational basisRequired Qualifications & SkillsHere’s what you need to be successful at this job : 5 years of industrial safety and ergonomics experience in a related industry such as maintenance, manufacturing, hospitality, entertainment / theatrical, transportation, distribution / warehouseKnowledge and hands-on application in regulatory standards, best-practices and guidelines, such as ergonomics, incident investigation, and root-cause analysisExperience with strategic thinking, prioritization, and initiation of tasksExperience with proper writing, speaking, and presenting to all levels of employeeResolve conflicts and diffuse difficult situationsExperience with assessing, analyzing, identifying, and solving ergonomic issues across a diverse group of Disney Parks and Resorts businessesPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in the entertainment / hospitality industryAssociate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designationCertified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)Bi-lingual language skillsEducationBachelor's Degree in a related fieldPreferred EducationBachelor’s degree in occupational safety and / or health, industrial hygiene, life science, physical science or engineeringAdvanced degree in Ergonomics or Human Factors Engineering#LI-CTO#DisneySafety#DXMediaThe hiring range for this position in California is $103,500.00-$138,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Salary : $103,500 - $138,800
